PHOENIX to enter Pre-Season Tournie Oxford HOOPS "PHOENIX" will be entering the 2009-10 Pre-Season Tournament which is to take place on Saturday 19th September at Oxford Brookes University Centre for Sport in Headington, Oxford. Last season Oxford HOOPS hosted the Pre-Season tournament, which seems like it will be a regular feature for the Women's League. This season, however, Oxford Brookes has stepped in and offered their great facilities and cafe-bar for a true "ladies day". "We are not sure what format the tournament will have or what the costs to each team will be, but regardless it should be great for women's basketball."
