Oxford Legion to HOST 2009 CCALB Showcase for Senior Legion
Oxford Legion would like to welcome the Chester County American Legion Baseball Organization and it's players to Oxford on June 6th. Oxford Legion and CCALB will host on June 6th the 2009 Senior Legion Baseball Showcase. Players playing on any Chester County Senior Legion team and invited. The event wil be hosted at Oxford Area High School JV and Varsity fields on Waterway Road in Oxford, PA.
Several Colleges/Universities have already responded and will be in attendance. Some of those names are listed below.....
* West Chester University * East Stroudsburg University * Penn State Main Campus * Kutztown University * Penn State Brandywine * Temple University * Chestnut Hill College * Lincoln University * Temple University

8:45 – 9:00 Registration for Position Players
9:00 – 9:15 Position Players Stretching
9:15 – 10 Infielders: Hitting Cage
Outfielders: 60 yd. dash
Throwing from outfield to 3rd/home
11:00 – 12:00 Infielders: 60 yd dash
Grounders from behind 3rd
12:00 – 1:00 Outfielders: Hit on Field
Infielders: Shag fly balls
11:45 – 12:00 Registration for Pitchers
12:00 – 12:15 Pitchers Stretching
12:30 – 1:00 Pitchers throw to get loose
1:00 – 3:00 Pitchers pitch
