07/12/07 P 24's season ends with a 3-2 loss at Rock Hill Thursday night
The P 24's season came to an end Thursday night after a 3-2 loss to Rock Hill at Winthrop University. The P 24's finished the season at 9-10, one game out of the postseason. Four pitchers combined to hold Rock Hill to three runs, but the P 24's couldn't push across the tying run in the ninth. Jesse Harmon had two hits including a solo homerun in the ninth to cut the deficit to one.
The P 24's would like to thank all the fans for their support throughout the season. We would also like to thank all of those who helped get American Legion baseball back to Newberry County and look forward to the 2008 season.
