Congratulations to the 12u Annapolis PAL Astros who fought their way to a semi-final finish at the competitive "Ducks on the Pond" tournament in Georgetown, DE during the weekend of October 22/23rd.

The team finished the tournament with a 3-1 record, defeating strong teams from Virginia, New Jersey, and Delaware.  Alex Craig, Hanley Marek, and Patrick Smith each turned in outstanding pitching performances.  Lachlan Armstrong, Aidan Mahaffey, and Allen Gottlieb each made several run saving plays in the field.  Ceph Christie and Jack Gallant provided the offensive spark to get many rallies started.  And Dominic Montini "only" pitched well, provided outstanding defense as a catcher for 20+ innings, AND hit a booming home run over the right/center field fence!  It was a weekend the team will not soon forget!
