Wednesday, October 21, 2009, Portland, Oregon -
Coach Robbie Trebelhorn and the Franklin High School Board met with players and families to present the winter fund-raiser for the baseball program. Brian Lusby explained that Poinsettias and Wreaths will be sold over a two week period, ending November 2nd, as a primary fund-raising effort for the ball teams.
All current and future Franklin HS Baseball families are urged to participate - the flowers and wreath's are of exceptional quality and should sell well. And - for families involved, the good news is that the effort involved is minimal. Considering the effort and manpower put into prior years Christmas Tree sales, this event is going to be a snap.
If you were not able to attend, or need addtional copies of handouts provided at the meeting, go to the HANDOUTS page on our website were you will find detaied instructions, order form and a page that shows images of the different Poinsettia colors and types available. Extra forms will also be available from Jill Register in the Franklin High School student store.
Start right away - put the word out to family, friends, co-workers and close neighbors that they can purchase the Poinsettias or Wreath they would purchase anyway and receive an exceptional product (direct from the nursery to their door).
So get out and sell - and GO QUAKERS!
