Strengthen your Arm

Ever wonder how guys like Alex Roriguez, Derek Jeter and Vlad Guerrero have unbelievable guns. What about guys like Joba Chamberlin, Johan Santana, and Marino Rivera dominating hitters and making them look silly. You probably ask yourself how do they do that? Well I can help you reach that status.

Here is the thing it isn't easy. It is also not a guarantee that you will ever throw 90 mph. However their is a way you can guarantee an upgrade on your fastball or make it so you throw harder and faster across the diamond. It is a simple formula that will help you.

Number one we start with your base. You have to have strong legs and know how to use them. Your legs are the the part of the body that will help you throw. So many times I see kids with a great arm but don't have proper mechanics and do reach full potential. Use and strengthen your legs and you will through harder.

Number two strengthen your core. If you have a strong abdominal and a strong lower back you will throw harder, and also hit farther. So right now we covered two steps of how to throw harder and we still haven't even talked about working out the arm.

Number three is to do long toss, long toss, and more long toss. You must throw to make your arm stronger. Their is no secret to that. Long toss will help strengthen your arm and will really increase how hard you throw.

Remember to really concentrate on steps one and two. If you do that you will really increase how hard you throw and it will also help keep your arm healthy.
