The Rochester Lady Lions is an elite fast pitch travel softball organization known across New York State for its high level of play, competitiveness, and sportsmanship. Some of our teams will also compete at the National level. We currently have 5 teams that play under the Lady Lions umbrella with girls, all from the Greater Rochester area, ranging from ages 10 and under to 18 and under. The Lady Lions will provide the young lady athletes the knowledge, skill, teamwork, and discipline it takes to play fast pitch softball, not to mention the experiences and memories that will stay with them forever.
These girls work hard year round in order to compete in 6 -10 tournaments each summer from early May to mid August, and in many cases most of the teams will also compete in Fall tournaments that go until the end of October. Many of our teams also will compete in a league this season which will add another 12-15 games. Our older girls will compete at the National level attending National Championship tournaments as well as College Showcases where our girls are able to showcase their talents for college coaches in order to get recruited. The Lady Lions have a long list of girls that have played and been successful at the collegiate level.
To be able to compete at this level, there are substantial operating costs such as indoor practice facilities, tournament fees, insurance, equipment, uniforms, and travel expenses. The costs just add up. One way to help keep the cost down for the girls and their families is to solicit sponsorships. The next page gives you more information on our program. We hope you will consider becoming one of our sponsors. There will be great opportunities for exposure for your business, however just the fact that you are supporting our girls may be enough.
