Basketball season is just around the corner, and Roots fall skills sessions for 4th-8th grade boys will help get players prepared for tryouts for the Roots winter teams.

There will be a total of 8 skills sessions on the following Wednesdays:

September 13 at Woodward Middle School
September 20 at Woodward Middle School
September 27 at Sakai Intermediate School
October 4 at Woodward Middle School
October 11 at Woodward Middle School
October 18 at Woodward Middle School
October 25 at Woodward Middle School
November 1 at Woodward Middle School

The sessions for 4-5th graders will be from 6:15pm to 7:15pm, and the sessions for 6-8th graders will be from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.

These sessions will be led by Coach Kris Gallagher, who was the very first Roots coach back in 2011. We are very fortunate to have such a great coach lead these sessions. He is an amazing coach with great knowledge of the game. These sessions will focus on fundamentals of the game.  No prior Roots experience is necessary.
