All sessions will be at the Woodward Middle School gym.
Roots coaches (as well as special guest coaches with significant playing and/or coaching experience) will lead the sessions, based upon practice plans developed by Steve Haizlip (head varsity coach of the BHS boys team) for the boys and by Henry Guterson (head varsity coach of the BHS girls team) for the girls. Areas of emphasis will be skills development (primarily ball handling and shooting), fitness, and game play (3 v 3). Depending upon interest and availability, we may enter teams (likely mixed grades) in one or more weekend tournaments in the greater Puget Sound area. (Participation on those teams may be subject to additional fees to cover the tournament's team registration fee.)
NO PREVIOUS ROOTS EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
There are two registration options for both boys and girls…register for 6 sessions, or for all 12. Click here to register.
