Roots will have summer basketball camps for boys who will be in 2nd through 8th grades in the 2017/18 academic year.  The dates of the camps are as follows:

·         June 26-29 

·         July 10-13

Exact times will be determined at a later date, but the gym space has been reserved.

The camps will be run by Coach Steve Haizlip (BHS boys varsity coach) and Coach Kaleb Anderson (BHS boys JV team coach), along with some players from the Bainbridge High School boys basketball teams. 

Campers will spend four days working on the fundamentals of the game of basketball in a competitive but fun environment through drills and scrimmages.  Coach Haizlip stresses the importance of attitude and effort, with the goal of fostering a love of basketball.  Campers will develop skills and team unity throughout the week.
