BLACK DIAMONDS TAKE 2ND AND 3RD AT 2008 GOAL DIGGER
The Salt Lake Black Diamonds entered 2 teams, an ‘A’ and a ‘C’ Team, in the Goal Digger Tournament which took place at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex (Steiner) December 12-14, 2008.
The 'C's won the consolation game to finish 3rd and the 'A's came in 2nd after taking the championship game to a shoot-out. Both games were an exciting finish to another great weekend of hockey!
Members of both teams included: Jen Deans, Jenn Lindelien, Jo-Anne Lee (G), Erin Gould, Meredith Johnson, Dina DeMarco (G), Amanda Rosenbeck, Bobbi Schutz, Mel Williams, Tracey Anderson, Debbie Modrovsky, Shawn Winder, Liz Frank, Kim Hicks, Jacs Jarvis, Hillary Parkin, Shannon White, Meghan Mathews, Dawn Tyler, Sari Prince, Kaela Larrabee, Lori Gutierrez, Ina Amber and Dayna Geiger. The Black Diamonds are coached by: Bob Devaney, Head Coach and Assistant Coaches: Jim Miles, Rusty Tucker, Larry Nickels and Sean Dahmen.
