Suffolk Board of Womens' Basketball Officials

If you are interested in becoming a girls basketball official in Suffolk County, the clinic will begin Sept. 29. Sessions will run from 7-9 p.m. and be held at The Sports Loft, 283 Orinoco Drive, Brightwaters, 11718. Clinic fee is $200 and must be paid in full by the second session. Candidates must be a resident of Suffolk County and must show proof with a drivers license on the first night. The remaining classroom dates are Oct. 7,  9, 14, 20, 21, 28 and Nov. 3.  Those who pass the written exam (86 percent or better) will move on to the mechanics portion on Nov. 6, 18, 19.  For more info, contact Chuck DeCarbo at chuck@thesportsloft.com or Jim Guise (guisej@aol.com).
