Hockenberry Outduels Suburban Ace Ruth
SW York hurler Matt Hockenberry fired a complete game as the SW York bats awoke just enough to edge visiting Suburban York. Cavan O'Reilly led the way with 2 hits and a pair of clutch RBI's (one in the 1st and another in the 5th). Suburban's Matt Ruth held the SW York bats in check for a good part of the game, but seemed to tire in the 5th, which is when a '3' spot of runs put SW on top for good. Hockenberry ran into a little trouble in the 7th, but got the final out on a ground out to 2nd base, stranding the tying run at 2nd base.
