Underneath the Ripken rules, Tri-County will continue to use pitch count limits (55 at U10, 70 at U12) and per innings run limits (5 @ U8, 6 @ U10, no max in final inning), but will adopt Ripken's 60' base path and the optional eleventh fielder for U8 "Rookies". (the fielder can be positioned wherever the coach chooses) Per Ripken rules, no metal spikes or big barrel bats.
Also, Tri-County time limits still apply- can't start an inning after 2:15, game stops at 2:30. Games can be played with as few as eight players with an automatic "out" assessed in the line-up.
