Team Nitro Long Island Fastpitch

Congrats to TNLI 01 for taking home the championship in the USSSA Sandlot Showdown tourney the weekend of June 6 & 7th. Out of a strong field of 15 registered teams, TNLI 01 went 2 and 1 on Saturday, losing a one run affair to LI Thunder 14U Black but beating the RVC Xtreme and LI Thunderbolts 2000. Going into Sunday, they seeded 6^th out of the 15 teams and proceeded to win their first game against Hamptons Riptide before run ruling the LI Surge Blue in their second game setting up a rematch again the  LI Thunder who they lost to the day before. In a closely battled contest, TNLI 01 came out victorious placing them into the championship game against the LI Bandits – Gorgan. TNLI 01 beat the Bandits 6 to 4 to take home the championship.
