Mudhens Lose Season Opener
The Tecumseh Mudhens took to the hardwood Saturday Afternoon to play a talented Dale team in their season opener at the Tecumseh Old Gym. The Mudhens, new to the game, struggled in the contest losing by a score of 16-4. The Mudhens were led in scoring by Geoffrey "GT" Smith and Jeremiah Gifford with 2 apiece. Kyle Montgomery ripped 5 rebounds out of the sky, while Josiah Mendoza and Gifford collected 4 Steals apiece. The Mudhens will continue with practice this week and work on the things that they need to work on. Coaches Blaine Morris and Rick Davis feel optimistic about the season and look forward to getting back on the court soon. The Mudhens will play next Saturday, December 8th at the Tecumseh Old Gym at 4:30pm versus the Dale Griggs Team. Come out and support the Tecumseh Mudhens.
