Intro

There's only 11 games remaining in the 2016 season and so little is decided.  The Draft Kings loss on Thursday kept 1st place overall up in the air.  2nd and 3rd are a crap shoot between the Dusty Cleats and Rusty Rebels.  The Grisslies are alive for 3rd but only mathematically.  They'd have to go 2-0 next week AND score 88 more runs than the Rusty Rebels who would need to go 0-2.  I don't see that as likely.  

So the top 3 teams are established, just the sequence needs to be decided.  Then the mess comes into play.  Positions 4 thru 8 are separated by just 3 points.  9 thru 11 are separated by only 2 points.  12 thru 14 are separated by a single point.  

Its probably going to come down, as it usually does, to the final games on Thursday night to figure out where we all finish.  See you at Keogh. 

The week that was in baseball.  

Well, we had 12 games this week.  6 of them were blow outs, decided by 10 or more runs.  4 were decided by a single run.  We had all manner of games this week.  We had no less than 4 games won by clear underdogs.  We had 7th inning comebacks.

Just when you thought that the Draft Kings were going to run the table, eh?  They beat the Dodge City Rounders to hold it for the 1st games of the week, but they dropped a beat down to the Hurtin' Units 15-3.

So the Hurtin' Units have one game left, versus the Sliders.  Its also the Sliders last game, so this is a winner take all affair.  

The cool part is that the Sliders are the only team that haven't played a beer cup game this season.  Until now.
