Troup and LaGrange High Cheerleaders were presented with the Georgia Cheerleading Coaches Association Sportsmanship Award at the annual conference help in Athens. The teams were recognized for their joint leadership and efforts in hosting the screening of Darius Goes West to raise money for and awareness of Duschene Muscular Dystrophy. Their combined total was over $4000. The teams were applauded for using their rivalry on the field and cheerleading mat for a cause to help others and leading through service. Both schools received a banner to be displayed in their school. Way to go TIGERS!
