Other Info: Kyle is a graduate of Union High School. During his high school career he played four years of football, baseball, and also wrestled.

After graduation Kyle went to Buena Vista University and wrestled in college for the Beavers in Storm Lake, Iowa in the highly competitive Iowa Conference under legendary coach Al Baxter.

Upon graduating he was offered a teaching and coaching position at Belmond-Klemme High School. He taught science and recently resigned as head wrestling coach to move back to the Union Community school district. Kyle recently accepted a full-time position at Pioneer Hybrid in Dysart.

He is married to another Union alum, Amy Higgins. Amy will be in her first year at the guidance counselor at UHS. The Kriz' reside in Dysart.
