Summer Football Camps

February 26, 2013

Parents and Players of UNION FOOTBALL:

As spring approaches we know you will be making summer plans and wanted to get you some camp opportunities to improve the skills and expose your son to the college experience.   We realize not everyone has a desire to play college football but these camps are designed to make you a better high school football player.  Please feel free to email Coach Douglass or myself if you have any questions.   In regards to questions about a specifice camp, please contact the email, phone number, or website to get your answers.

UNI QB seminars:  various dates starting in June.

These are two day camps and very intense.  Coach Mario Verduzco has coached Garrett Woodson (Simpson College), Steven McGarvey (UW-Platteville), Trev Hadachek (IA), and Jay Scheel (IA).   The techniques he coaches are the same techniques that our quarterback coach, Jeremy Robb, uses in drills on a daily basis.  Mario is a great teacher and can correct things very quickly as he only has 8 quarterbacks in each session.  His sessions sell out quickly.

11th and 12th grade PUNTERS, KICKERS, and LONGSNAPPER - JUNE 15th

Coach Ryan DeSousa will be lining up transportation and arrangement to take you to a one day special team camp at Iowa.  We have done this in the past and it is a great experience!

Register on March 1st!  Http://www.hawkeyefootballcamps.com

Union Linemen (7th-12th):

We have gone to Illinois Wesleyan University for a three day oline/dline camp that has been instrumental in teaching the techniques ofoffensive and defensive line play over the last six years.   This camp has assistant oline coach Paul Alexander from the Cincinnati Bengals in additionto his rookie linemen that teach in the camp.

There are college coaches from FCS, NCAA DII, and NCAA DIII teaching at the camp.  We stay on campus and are fed well.   Ask anyone that has ever attended and I am sure you will get the same response!   Best camp for money!!    We get a significant discount so when you mail in the check for your camp spot just pay the deposit and we will let you know what the remainder will be.
