We just arrived back from the four day camp in Illinois and we're both saddened and shocked by the death of Ed Thomas, Aaron's father. While our thoughts and prayers go out to Ed's wife Jan, Aaron and his family, and Todd and his family, we know the communities of A-P will provide countless support and encouragement for the Thomas family.

We cancelled WRAP today honoring Coach Thomas and will fully engage on Thursday as we know that is what he would want us to do. There is a memorial and vigil tonight (7:00pm) at the Parkersburg football field. Anyone who can make it is encouraged to attend.

In addition, I have talked with Dean Lange and we will be taking two buses to Coach Thomas' funeral with departure times being announced as soon as we know the details. Ed not only was a great football coach and teacher, but a tremendous role model as a husband and father. Lastly and of equal importance, he was very active as a leader in his church serving as a deacon.
