Union Knights Football Team

Tanner Heckt,Chase Hansen,and Brady Petersen, visit Upper Iowa University and Luther College this past weekend

The following comments were made by Tanner Heckt in reference to the visit to both campuses.

About the UIU visit:
When Chase, Brady, and I pulled into Fayette, I got that small town feeling. We arrived at campus and there were a lot of nice buildings. The campus is small, but not to small. I really have yet to decide a major. I was impressed by the stadium for the most part. With the re modeling going on, it will be almost 100% brand new. The weight room was small, but Coach Frana said they plan on a new one in the coming years. Coach Frana is a great guy, very down to earth, and did a great job being straight foreword. I plan on visiting the University of Sioux Falls this coming weekend. I will also be visiting Simpson the following week.

About the Luther College visit:
Luther was also really nice, and the coaches and players were very outgoing. Achedemically, they are a great school for science studies. Decorah is also a beautiful town.
