Meet the coach: Tim Smith

Assistant coach - DEs/LBs

4th year coaching defense at Union High School.

Last year Tim helped coach all stater Kyle Ansley who is slated to attend Iowa Central Community College. He also coached TJ Gray who plays at Cornell, and Matt Schmitz who plays at Coe College.

Education: Police Science Degree, Hawkeye Community College, 2002. Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Columbia Southern University, 2011. EMT-B/Firefighter.

Playing Experience: Cedar Falls Schools

Tim lives in La Porte City with wife, Erin and two children Taylen and Tucker. Tim is a Lieutenant with the Cedar Falls Police Department.

Hobbies: weightlifting, running, horseback riding and spending time with family.
