Senior captain and special teams MVP Brady Petersen has committed to attend Central College in
Pella, Iowa this week. He is the fourth Union Knight to have plans to play on the college
platform next fall.
Brady has been one of the top kickers in 3A and 2A the last two years and will challenge
for kicking duties at Central in addition to the wide receiver position. Petersen was the
number two receiver on this year's team with 18 receptions and 330 yards with 5 TDs.
Petersen was 55 of 61 in the point after touchdown category and also had four of five
fieldgoald made. Brady was also the team punter while only have 23 attempts averaged
33.5 yards with a longest of 45. He was the third leading scorer on the team with 97 points.
Brady is the son of Julie Petersen and Barry Petersen from LaPorte City, Iowa.
Central College is a NCAA Divsion III member of the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
