Trev Hadachek currently has one offer from Eastern Illinois, but he is looking to add to that list. The Dysart, Iowa, native made the trip to Minnesota on Tuesday for an unofficial visit. Hadachek tells GopherIllustrated about his trip to check out the maroon and gold.

"My visit to Minnesota was great. I had a lot of fun and it was awesome to see everything. Minneapolis was a cool city and I was surprised by how nice it was. I had a really great time."

Shortly after arriving in Minnesota, the Iowa athlete had a chance to speak with Head Coach Jerry Kill and Receivers Coach Pat Poore.

"I talked to Coach Kill and Coach Poore while I was there. Coach Poore told me that they liked my film, but he wanted to see me in person before making a decision. I will be back for camp to show Coach Poore what I can do. Coach Kill said just told me that they knew about me and to keep working hard. He told me where he wanted to go with the program. The coaches did a great job of selling their program."

Hadachek spent most of his time in Minnesota watching spring practice on Tuesday afternoon.

"The practice was fun to watch. They ran practice different than most schools and I liked that a lot. There wasn't much standing around, they were always doing something. You could tell that the guys were used to a high pace practice and they got a lot of things accomplished in a two hour period."

The unranked athlete spent much of his time watching the wide receivers.

"I actually go to sit in during a receivers meeting. At practice I followed around the receivers most of the time to get a better look at how Coach Poore teaches his receivers. I liked the way he coaches a lot. He is willing to help a guy one-on-one if he has a problem and that is something I definitely like. He seems like he would be a fun coach to play for."

Hadachek was surprised with everything that the Golden Gopher football program has to offer.

"I was very impressed by everything they have, and the coaches were very down to earth which I loved. It is definitely up there with my top schools. Based on everything I saw, I would strongly consider playing there should the opportunity present itself."

Hadachek does not see any reason why the Gophers staff can't turn things around in a hurry.

"The facilities are great as well as the coaches. The locker room is unreal. Its obvious they have a plan in place and its turning the right direction."
