Union athlete Trev Hadachek knows the importance of college football camps. That is why this talented senior hit the road in order to showcase his skills at five different camps.
"I've been to Iowa, Iowa State, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and UNI."

Hadachek wished he could have done more overall.

"I was kind of banged up this summer with injuries but for the most part I felt I did well. I felt like I did okay for what I could do."

The feedback that Hadachek received remained positive overall for this standout.

"Wisconsin said that I could walk on and that they'll watch me close. Iowa had not been recruiting me much before the camp but I talked to the coaches and they said I moved up their list. Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa State all said to send my first four games and they'll make a decision from there."

Hadachek is still sorting through a number of options at the college level.

"I still have offers from North Dakota, South Dakota State, and Eastern Illinois. For Division I-A schools, the two that are in contact the most are Iowa and Iowa State."

His final year of prep football is on his mind and Hadachek is excited for their opener against Center Point-Urbana.

"We played them last year so we know what they got coming back. They made a late run to the playoffs last year so it'll be a good game for us right off the bat."

Hadachek feels two areas can help his team win their second straight title.

"Staying healthy is #1. The younger players have to step up into their roles and do their jobs."
