Junior Will Crees visited Northern Illinois University during spring game this past Saturday with his mother and Brian Dunkelberger. NIU is located in Dekalb, IL.. The following interview was conducted on Monday after his visit by head coach Joe Hadachek.

Northern Illinois opens up the 2012 season vs the Iowa Hawkeyes at Soldier Field on September 1st.

What was your 1st impression when you pulled into Dekalb, IL and onto the NIU campus? "The campus was very nice."

What did you like about campus outside of the athletic facilities? "I liked how the campus was close together and easy to get around."

What was the first thing that impressed you about NIU athletic facilities?
"The first thing that impressed me was how big the weight room was."

How was the weight room?
"The weight room was huge with many racks and had everything a weight room would need."

How was the stadium?
"The stadium was nice with a beautiful turf field."

Academically do you know what subject you are going to major in?
"I don't know what I'm going to major in yet."

Anyone else accompany you on the trip to Dekalb?
"My mother and Brian Dunk."

What other campus' have you visited to compare to NIU?
"UNI"

Any other visits planned in near future?
"I'm going to visit Simpson."
