Union Knights Football Team

Players, Parents, Family and Friends of Union Knight Football:


We will hold our annual Reward & Recognition Event at UHS in La Porte City on Sunday, December 4th from 6:30-8:00pm. Each player will be formally announced by his head coach (frosh, sophs, and varsity) and some individual awards will be presented. The cheer squad will also be making a presentation prior to the football team.

This is a non-food event and ask all players to wear their travel warmups and red Team T-shirt for attire. The event is casual for all others.

If you and your son are interested in college football and/or the opportunities that may be available please meet in the UHS Media Center from 5:30-6:00pm for a short program that will cover options. Although this is optional we highly recommended this event if your son is a junior or senior.

There will be a Christmas sale starting at 5:00pm in the lobby area of the auditorium. This is our annual, end of the year liquidation of Union Knight T shirts, hats, and other items.

Union 3A State Champion NIKE T-shirts will also be available on site through Gregg's as well as car window stickers with this accomplishment.

The store will close at 6:30pm, and reopen after the event.

In addition, two different versions of 2011 hi-lights will also be available. You can order/purchase these dvds on site this Sunday.

For team members that were part of the championship game roster we will be finalizing rings this week. If you are interested in getting one you may want to include this on your Christmas wish list. This is something you will have for the rest of your life. We do not have a price yet but will do our best to get out this information as soon as possible.
