Senior linebacker Will Crees will be playing football next fall at Central College in Pella, Iowa.
Crees was a team captain, and two year starter for the Union Knights winning at 3A state title and
a 2A district title the last two years. Will is the son of David and Christy Crees of rural Dysart.
Crees was a two way starter this past season garning 3rd team all state honors as well as first team
all-district honors. Will was a tight end making key catches and having 16 catches for 319 yards and
three TDs. He was the team's fourth leading scorer.
Crees stuck out on defense with big hits game in and game out. He had 58 tackles with
8 solos for loss, and 5 assist tackles for loss. Will had two interceptions while returning one
for a 14 yard TD. He was also tied for first in fumble recoveries with two.
Crees is also a standout baseball player starting since his freshman season. To find out more about
