****UMLL SPRING 2016 PLAYER REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED****

UMLL is now accepting online player registrations for the upcoming Spring 2016 baseball/softball season for ALL LEAGUES. Online registration will remain open through February 26, 2016, after which time player registration for some leagues may be closed depending on the number of players registered through that date.  A $15 (per family) late fee will be assessed for any player registrations received AFTER Sun., February 21, 2016.

The UMLL Board of Directors approved the # of teams per league and maximum roster sizes per team, so limited open roster spots now remain in many leagues.  So, be sure to register soon to ensure your player a roster spot prior to the player drafts.  You can find the active link to our online player registration on the right-hand side of our homepage (under 'Online Forms') at www.UMLL.net.

Please keep in mind that for 2016, we are using a NEW online registration system that requires you to create (or use an existing) login for LeagueLineup, our site provider. You will receive prompts and instructions throughout the registration process to guide you. By creating (or using an existing) login to LeagueLineup, this enables us to capture AND retain your family-specific and player-specific contact information in our database so that you will NOT need to re-enter that information again during future registrations. Instead, in the future you'll simply login, select the players you want to register, pay, and be on your way! We expect that this will benefit you, our customer, AND the league, making the player registration process easier to manage for all parties!

PLEASE BE FOREWARNED: You WILL need to enter your child's birth certificate number AND state during this initial registration process in the new system so thst we can capture this important information. We realize that you likely provided this data previously, but it is maintained in a different system, so we need to collect it once again with this initial registration in our new system. (Note: We do NOT need to inspect actual copies of birth certificates UNLESS you are registering a player who has NEVER played at UMLL previously.)

The new online registration system is also scalable so you can enter multiple player registrations under one login/family. You'll also find that the system will automatically offer you the league options ("programs") that are age-appropriate to your player based on date of birth and corresponding Little League "age," so this takes the guess work out it for you!

The new online registration system still offers convenient payment options through PayPal (credit, debit, and eCheck (**NEW**), though now your payment will be processed through PayPal without ever leaving the system!

We trust that you'll find the overall online registration process seamless and, hopefully, enhanced over what you experienced at UMLL in the past. The fees for 2016 player registration are as follows:

• $125 per player, with a Family cap of $250 for two or more players

Parents should also be aware of NEW Baseball ONLY league age eligibility guidelines (Softball remains unchanged) that are going into effect for the 2016 season in accordance with recent changes adopted by Little League Baseball, Inc. Here is a breakdown of the cutoffs for each corresponding Baseball league age:

• League age 5 (TBALL) ... born between September 1, 2010 and August 31, 2011
• League age 6 (ROOKIE) ... born between September 1, 2009 and August 31, 2010
• League age 7 (ROOKIE) ... born between September 1, 2008 and August 31, 2009
• League age 8 (AA)... born between September 1, 2007 and August 31, 2008
• League age 9 (AA) ... born between September 1, 2006 and August 31, 2007
• League age 10 (AAA -or- MAJORS) ... born between May 1, 2005 and August 31, 2006
• League age 11 (AAA -or- MAJORS) ... born between May 1, 2004 and April 30, 2005
• League age 12 (MAJORS) ... born between May 1, 2003 and April 30, 2004
• League age 13 (JUNIORS) ... born between May 1, 2002 and April 30, 2003
• League age 14 (JUNIORS -or- SENIORS) ... born between May 1, 2001 and April 30, 2002
• League age 15 (SENIORS) ... born between May 1, 2000 and April 30, 2001
• League age 16 (SENIORS) ... born between May 1, 1999 and April 30, 2000
