Victor 3, Hilton 1

Victor held off a tough Hilton team, 3-1 on Thursday (http://pointstreak.com/prostats/gamesheet_full.html?gameid=3279149). After a scoreless first period, Lukas Miller opened the scoring jamming home an Alex Hernandez shot midway through the second period. Hilton tied it up with a little under 4 minutes remaining in the period, but Victor answered 30 seconds later as Mitch Rydzynski deflected a Connor Gelabert shot from the point to beat the Hilton goalie.  Hilton pressured Victor at points in the third period but Chayse Ierlan and the Victor defense held up.  Mitch Rydzynski scored his second of the night, an empty net goal closed out the scoring.  Victor (11-0-3) next takes on a very good Auburn team (10-3-2) on Friday, Jan 26 at 7:30 at Rochester Ice Arena.
