Victor 1, Pittsford 1

In a tight, up-tempo game, Victor and Pittsford played to a 1-1 draw on Tuesday night at RIT’s Ritter Arena (http://pointstreak.com/prostats/gamesheet_full.html?gameid=3248045).  The game remained scoreless through the first two periods.  Midway through the third, Alex Hernandez carried the puck on his off-wing into the attacking zone and beat the Pittsford goalie high to the far post.  Pittsford evened up the game on a power play goal with less than two minutes to play.  Both goalies kept their team in the game, making excellent saves throughout.  Chayse Ierlan turned away 28 of Pittsford’s 29 shots, while Victor put up 20 shots for the game.  Victor (5-0-1) next plays Ithaca on Saturday at 1:00 at Cornell’s Lynah Rink.
