Registration now open for 14u, 15/16u and 17u Summer Travel
Open to Westfield residents only.
For Current 8th graders
- Tryouts will be Sunday May 21st 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Varsity Field. Edison Middle School.
- Need to register prior to tryout.
- Have to be attending WHS next year as a freshman, no exceptions. This is the only pre-requisite.
- Schedule starts early June and goes to end of July.
- Games are played on weekdays only, no weekends.
- Team coached by Brian Ciemenicki, former WHS player, and current 7th grade RIS coach.
- Registration deadline is 11:59pm on Friday May 20th, 2017
If you do not tryout or you are not selected for the HS Freshmen Legions team or are not attending WHS in the fall, you can request to be placed on the WBL 14U Summer Travel Team (if there are enough players for a team). If you are not selected for the Freshman Legions team, refunds will be issued if requested.
For Current Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors.
JUNIOR HS LEGIONS TEAM -- Coached by WHS Varsity Assistant Coach Brian Sloan
SENIOR HS LEGIONS TEAM -- Coached by WHS JV Coach Ken Miller
The WHS Coaches post rosters for the Junior and Senior HS Legions teams in the High School mid-May. Those on the roster should register after the rosters are posted.
For those players not on the Junior and Senior HS Legions teams, or not currently on JV or Varsity, or do not attend WHS, the WBL offers the following Summer Travel teams.
15/16U -- Current 9th and 10th graders. (If there is enough interest)
17U -- Current 11 graders. (If there is enough interest)
Registration Deadline for 15/16U and 17U is 11:59pm May 13th, 2017
If you plan on playing 15/16U or 17U, please register early so we can gauge the interest.
if there is not enough interest in an age group to form a team, all fees will be refunded.
