2018 Summer Travel Tryouts. Current 3rd thru 7th grade ( 9u-13u)

• 3rd grade: Sunday   10/22 12:00noon  - 3:00pm on Tamaques # 3
• 4th grade: Saturday 10/21 8:30am - 12:00noon on Gumbert #3
• 5th grade: Saturday 10/21 8:45am - 12:00noon on Gumbert #2
• 6th grade: Saturday 10/21 8:00am - 12:00noon on Gumbert #1
• 7th grade: Sunday   10/22 3:30pm to 5:00pm on Tamaques #2

All other grades, 8u, 14u, Legions and above will register in Spring 2018

Important info about 2018 Summer Travel:

As the landscape of youth sports has continued to change and the business of club sports has grown exponentially, the WBL must also adapt in order to maintain the integrity of our program. WBL Summer Travel baseball is the equivalent of any club baseball program and thus requires the same commitment level.

Effective for Summer of 2018, 8u thru 13u players who choose to play on another club or independent Summer baseball team will not be considered for a Westfield Summer travel team. Does not pertain to 14u and older.

In addition, other sports have begun to expand their Spring season into Summer (i.e. Lacrosse, soccer, hockey, swimming etc.). Our teams at all ages will be augmenting their schedules to include practices/games most weekends for the months of June and July.   Players are expected to be available for any and all events. Please note that 5th and 6th grade “A” teams host and play in the Memorial Day weekend tournament.  Unexcused absences will result in reduced playing time and possible removal from the travel program.
