Wickliffe Baseball League Meeting - 6/30/2016

Motion by Pugh, seconded by Novotney to approve the minutes of the meeting of 5/19/16. Motion passed.

Officer Reports:

VP –

·         The Health Department has been contacted regarding our tournament. 

·         We need tournament volunteers. 

·         We have 8 Mitey Mitey teams, 6 Minors teams, 7 Majors teams, and 6 Pony teams.  Brackets/schedule will be finalized and emailed out by Sunday, July 3^rd. 

·         The Dunk-the-Dolly tank will be utilized again with 100% of the profits being donated to the family of Logan Green. 

·         Menu for tournament is as follows:  Chik-Fil-A sandwiches on Saturday, hot dogs, soft pretzels, nachos, slushies, pasta with meatballs, meatball subs, candy, chips, Gatorades, water and pop.

Treasurer– Novotney announced the income/expense report for May 2016, which is attached below. 

1)      Checking account balance - $6,237.27

2)      Savings account balance - $3,616.64

3)      Cooperstown 2017  (11U) - $8,750.05

4)      Other Savings / Clinics - $840.25

5)      Nationals 2016 (14U) - $5,826.78

6)      Ripken 2016 (12U) - $246.25

Secretary – No report

Equipment Manager – Trophies are ordered for the tournament.  Fences need some repairs for the tournament.  He will do inventory on scorebooks and baseballs by this weekend.

Umpire in Chief – No report

Player Development Manager – No report

President –  Rec playoffs will start the week of July 11^th.  All the Mitey Mite and Pony teams make the playoffs.  The top 9 teams are in the playoffs in the Minors.  The top 7 teams make the playoffs in the Majors.
