Old Business

New Business:

·         Pugh told the board that he expects background checks done on every volunteer coach/manager that enters the dugouts this summer.  Levon will collect them, and scan them and send them to Novotney to be sent to First Select.

·         It was asked if any event with the Varsity Baseball team will be planned this spring.  Pugh said he would follow up with Coach Motta.

·         Rain out line – Levon will give Shirer all of the parents’ email addresses, and Shirer will send out a mass email notifying parents how to sign up for email/text alerts from the league.

·         Levon mentioned to the league that he hasn’t heard of any tournament tryouts, and if these teams want uniforms for these tournaments, they need to order them right away.  Brandt stated that he believes it is the board’s responsibility to hold the tryouts with independent evaluators, and then select the managers.  Pugh said he would try to round up the evaluators, and Levon would send an email to all of the parents notifying them of the date, time, and location of said tryouts.

Meeting ended at 8:47pm.

Date of next meeting – May 18 at 8pm
