Special Meeting for All First-Time Coaches at 11U or Older

 (immediately following the 11U & 13U general coaches meeting)

A coach’s job gets a little more complicated at 11U and above as we add umpires, pitch counts, lineup sheets, scorebooks and more structure to the game.  Our NCCP courses focus on teaching technical baseball skills, ethics, safety and the like, but there is not time for some of the practical details that coaches at these older age divisions need to know.

At this meeting we will share the tips we have assembled in a new pamphlet, Some Practical Tips for New Coaches, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions and pick the brains of other experienced coaches.

This short session is intended to augment, not replace the various NCCP clinics and was developed in response to recommendations from Winnipeg South club coaches after the 2017 season.  Please join us if you are new to coaching at any level older than Grand Slam.
