Goalie Clinic Dec. 1st
There will be a goalie clinic for all TYHNC goalies on Monday, December 1st at the Triangle Sportsplex. The clinic will have an off ice session starting at 7:20 PM followed by on ice drills at 8:20 PM.
Please RSVP to Tim Shields at tfshields@bellsouth.net if you plan on attending.
(For those players that don't have their own goalie equipment but would like to give the goalie position a shot, we do have some limited equipment available for that day. Please email Vance at president@tyhnc.org if you'd like to use TYHNC's goalie equipment.)

TYHNC is working with Total Exposure Designs for this year's apparel needs. Great pricing is being offered for embroidered items. Apparel orders due by Nov. 14th (for delivery before Thanksgiving) or by Dec. 2nd (for delivery before Christmas). Items available are included in here (plus, if you would like something you don't see - e.g. hockey bags- you can contact Steve Wells because he can probably get it for you).
Just fill out the order form spreadsheet (it calculates your order for you) and then attach to an email to Steve Wells at swells@totalexposuredesigns.com with TYHNC in the subject line. Steve will have sample items at the rink during the "photo shoot" practices next week.

TYHNC Receives $500 Grant
Triangle Youth Hockey is pleased to announce a grant of $500 from the Michael Henthorne Summit Hockey Memorial Fund that will go towards the purchase of goalie equipment for TYHNC. Special thanks go to Mike Henthorne of Chapel Hill and Linda and Noelle Herrick from Breckenridge, Colorado for the donation. They are great friends of youth hockey both here in North Carolina as well as in Colorado.
Sport International Thanksgiving Clinic (To print this information download here)
The Sport International Hockey Academy is very pleased to announce that we will be returning to Raleigh, NC area for the upcoming Thanksgiving Break. SIHA will be conducting a 2 day Clinic (November 28 - 29) at The Rec. Zone, for players & goalies aged 6 - 14 years. The ice times will be:
The cost for our Thanksgiving Clinic will be $70.00 ($30.00 for goalies), price includes our very popular Player's/Goaltender's Manual. The content of our clinic will be as follows;
1. Forward Stride (balance, posture & edge control) & Passing (accuracy & transfer of weight when passing)
2. Backwards Skating (posture, "C" cut technique & pivots) & 1 on 1's (offensive moves and defensive techniques)
** All clinics will incorporate light conditioning skates to properly prepare each player & goalie for their season.
EXTRA:
SIHA will be offering our very popular DVD Skills Analysis as an option for each registered player. If you choose to receive our DVD Analysis, your son or daughter will be filmed each day in a different drill. Through the use of our telestrator, computer split screens, video factory slow motion split screens and our professional audio analysis of each aspect of the player's skills. This is clearly our best guarantee for a quality hockey education! The cost for this DVD Analysis will be $18.00 (includes shipping & handling).
