2. Vienna has been selected to host the 2008 Babe Ruth 16 year old SE Regional Tournament,
because we are hosting our team is guaranteed entry
3. Waters field will once again be a site for the 2008 annual Cougar Clash for 13 & 14 yo teams
4. Waters field will once again host the Memorial Day Wood Bat Tournament
5. The Vienna Babe Ruth Senior League plays exclusively with WOOD Bats

All Babe Ruth League rostered baseball and softball coaches must complete coaching education before the beginning of the 2008 season. For more information please see the link in the left menu.

Scott Rawson Sloan Award Announcement
The 2008 recipients are:
Hugh Gardiner (13 Prep League)
Daniel Giguere (14-15 National League)
Sean Caldwell (14-15 American League)
Patrick Fox (16-19 Senior League)
The award will be presented by Monika and Stan Sloan this coming Saturday, June 28 at Waters Field in between the town tournament finals of the American and Senior Leagues
The master plaque for the award is on permanent display in the Town of Vienna Community Center.
Vienna Senators
During the summer months Waters Field is home to our own Vienna
Senators of the Clark Griffith League. This wooden bat league is made
up of talented college players recruited from all over the country who
aspire to play professionally. You will find yourself among the growing
number of excited fans cheering for our home team and maybe even some
for the other teams when you recognize players from our own area!
