PLEASE REMEMBER, any game(s) or practice(s) cancellations are determined by the Palm Beach County Parks Department. If the fields are closed we will do the All-Call system as soon as possible. We will also post it here when the fields are closed as soon as we can.
Important Happenings and Dates
On September 5, 2008 there is a Mandatory umpire’s clinic for all Managers and Coaches. Kids are also welcome to come if they are interested on umpiring this fall. Sign in will start at 6:30pm and clinic will start at 7:00 pm sharp.
- Coaches Clinic: August 28th at 6:30 pm sign-in Tee Ball and Coach Pitch Divisions.
- Coaches Clinic: September 4th 6:30 pm sign-in Minors and Major Divisions.
- Who must attend: All NEW Managers, Coaches and Team Parents who did not go through this in the Spring of 2008.
- Everyone must fill out a Little League Volunteer Application.
- Social - Security # is a must for background check!!!!

IMPORTANT REMINDER. NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE FIELD IF YOU DO NOT ATTEND!!!!!!!!!!

Code Of Conduct
The West Boynton Little League has in place a Coaches Code of Conduct. The Code identifies the standards, the behavior and the expectations that WBLL has for all of its baseball coaches. Each coach has to display a card at every WBLL practice and game. This card is proof that the coach has had a background check and has attended a coaches clinic.
Monthly Board Meeting
The next meeting is TBA. Anyone wishing to speak to the board at the monthly meeting must contact the board in advance to be added to the agenda.
Umpires Needed
Attention Parents: We need umpires to operate our league. There is also a clinic in St. Pete we will send you to. The first rule is "The umpire may not always be right, but they are always the umpire". Please be respectful of the umpires, both parent & official. They are all volunteers. If interested contact James Dickie.
