Support GAC - Register Your Safeway Card!
GAC is Participating in a Powerful Fundraising Opportunity Called eScrip!
What is eScrip? eScrip is a hassle free way for GAC to raise funds all year long through every day purchases made at eScrip merchants, and it doesn't cost you a penny!
eScrip and their merchant partners have created a system that rewards customer loyalty by contributing a percentage of purchases to GAC. You shop the way you like to shop (grocery shopping at Safeway, buying clothes, travel and entertainment).
It's simple and convenient, all you need to do is register your participating Safeway card. Log on to www.escrip.com and go to "sign up", or check under the "Links" section of this page.
Designate GAC as the group to receive contributions. GAC's group ID is #149572335.
Register your Safeway grocery club card and, if you wish, your debit and credit cards. Remember, if you would just like to register your grocery card, you can. You do not have to list credit cards to participate!
That's it! Visit eScrip merchants to shop and earn money for GAC! We can potentially earn hundreds of dollars from your participation alone! Also, you can check their web site for updates on new merchants!
Some of the participating merchants:
- Safeway
- Payless Shoe Source
- AAMCO
- MAACO Auto Painting
- OfficeMax
- Eddie Bauer
- The Sharper Image
- and many, many more......
We hope that you will take the time to sign up and appreciate your support.
Coaches Opening Day Drive Against Hunger
On April 18th, Germantown Athletic Club teams helped the children and families in need of assistance through Germantown Help. who serves nearly 1,000 families in Germantown on the "list" that entitles them to food and assistance. This list has grown significantly and resources are severely depleted at this time.
You can make a financial donation (checks can be made out to Germantown Help and are tax deductible) or Giant Food gift cards are also accepted. Non-perishable items needed include breakfast cereals, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, jelly, tuna fish, other canned meats, canned fruits/vegetables/soups, rice and pasta.
A huge thank you to all of the coaches and parents for a very successful food drive! The coaches, children and families that will benefit from your generosity truly appreciate your kindness. A special thanks to Mike Ginsberg for leading the effort.
