Over a thousand people have already done this and it seriously takes seconds! Please pass it along to everyone you know!!
SAVE LACROSSE!!!
Hi to all Lacrosse supporters! Check out the new Save Lacrosse Blog. Pass it on to anyone you know to get the word out!
Don't forget....it's imperative that we show up in force at the board meeting next Tues. the 10th . There will be many people there representing other issues, so we need to make sure everyone attending wears or carries something to show their support for Lacrosse.
WE MUST ATTEND MARCH 10TH MEETING!!!
Once again we stand the risk of SVUSD (AND POSSIBLY OTHER DISRICTS)cutting their lacrosse programs due to budget cuts. We need to show how truly big this lacrosse family is by attending the next SVUSD meeting. It takes place on March 10th at Mission Viejo High School at 6:15...try to arrive by 5:45pm with your player and have them wear their Lacrosse jersey! We need to show our support for our sisters and brothers in lacrosse so they'll support us if and when the time comes!!!
Congratulations to the 2009 Lady Wolverines!!!!
January 23, 2009 - 11:02 PM
Thanks to all the ladies who attended tryouts this year. We have the basis of two very strong teams this year and hope to raise all of our players to their highest level of competition as the season develops. We anticipate giving a few opportunities for JV players to move up either temporarily or permanently depending on their devotion, drive, and development in the weekly practices and games.
WE ARE PLANNING ON OFFERING SELECT FRESHMAN, SOPHOMORE, AND JUNIOR GIRLS ADDITIONAL TRYOUT OPPORTUNITIES DURING THE NEXT TWO WEEKS. IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW MISSED TRYOUTS DUE TO ILLNESS, FINALS OR OTHER CONFLICTS AND WOULD LIKE TO TRYOUT FOR THE FEW REMAINING SPOTS, PLEASE CONTACT COACH ELKINS, REIDLER, SEPE, OR JOCHAM ASAP.
Please have your parents plan to attend the MANDATORY registration meeting THIS Monday, January 26th, 2009 at 7:30pm in the ANHS Library. Important information concerning the season and necessary paperwork and fees will be discussed. Watch the website and your email for more information for the start of practices. We plan on beginning on Monday, February 3rd and our first scrimmage is on Wednesday, March 4th.
Once again, congrats to all the girls. Aliso will rock...again!

Tryout stick skills video!!!!
These six skills are MANDATORY for Varsity players and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for any girls who would like to earn additional playing time. Once you master these basics, practice them on the run and while playing Wall Ball.
OUR THEMES FOR THIS YEAR ARE PATIENCE, POSSESSION, AND PASSION. Thanks very much to Coach Christa and Bounce Entertainment for this cut from her excellent Stickies I and II videos. If you would like more information about where to buy your own set of videos with much more detailed stickwork and training ideas, please contact Coach Elkins by email.
