REMINDER - Allendale Travel Baseball Picnic - This Saturday June 27
This is a reminder that our third annual Allendale Travel Baseball picnic/barbecue is this Saturday June 27th at the Red Barn at Crestwood Lake. The fesivities will include a baseball skills competition, coaches dunk tank and great food and beverages.
The barbecue starts at 2pm with food and beverage. The skills competition will start at around 3pm and kick off with the home run derby. We will also be presenting an ATB scholarship award to a Northern Highlands high school senior who participated in Allendale Travel Baseball. In addition, we will pay tribute to one of our "elder" head coaches. The coaches dunk tank will start shortly after the skills competition. And then, at around 5pm, we will pick the raffle winners.
Please make sure that you have returned your raffle tickets and money to your head coaches or their delegate.
WE ASK THAT AL PLAYERS WEAR THEIR RED JERSEYS AND COACHES SHOULD BE IN THEIR RED COACHES SHIRTS. HATS SHOULD BE WORN BUT BASEBALL PANTS ARE NOT NECESSARY.

2009 Northern Highlands Red and Black Summer Baseball Camp
The Red & Black Baseball Camp 2009 is in it’s fourth year and open to all baseball players ENTERING grades 3-9.
Because of its popularity, the camp will be offered an additional week. The camp will be held from Monday, July 27th through Thursday, July 30th. The second week will be Monday, August 3rd through Thursday, August 6th. Camp will be 8am-11:00am. Limited enrollment.
This camp is designed to focus on the development of baseball fundamentals, improving skills and developing team concepts and will be run by the head coach of the NH baseball team, Paul Albarella.

2009 Summer Travel Rosters Announced

HEAT REPEAT - TAKE SECOND BCCC TITLE!!!
The Allendale HEAT beat Pearl River 13-4 to win the 10U BCCC Memorial Day Tournament championship. The HEAT struck early with two homers and eight runs in the second inning to take an 8-0 lead. In the second inning, the HEAT hit two homers - a grand salami and a three run home run. Two unbelievable defensive plays in the outfield including a catch with a jump against the fence and a 6-4-3 double play!!! Pitching was fantastic and the bats were on FIRE!!!!
It was a true team effort - every player contributed. The HEAT outscored their opponents 55-14 over the course of their five victories this weekend. The HEAT have gone 10-0 over the past two years in the BCCC Memorial Day tournament.
