Practices are well underway and we are excited to begin another season. We hope to have game schedules out next week, but until then, please take note of the following dates and deadlines:
- Opening Day (schedule TBA - - April 25th (rain-out April 26th)
***Last Day to turn in fundraiser cards/money and birth certificates (U10, 12, 14 only)
- Regular Season Dates - - May 2 - June 20th
- U8 and U10 Baltimore Tournament - - June 22nd - June 28th
-COGFP U12 Tournament -- begins June 26th @ Lakewood
-COGFP U10 Tournament -- begins July 6th @ Newark
-COGFP U14 Tournament -- begins July 13th @ Lakewood
equipment needed: glove, batting helmet with ear protectors (both sides), face mask and
chin strap, tennis shoes or cleats, softball bat (optional)
equipment provided: catchers gear, balls, heart guard (only provided for pitchers),
uniform (includes: shirt, shorts, socks, visor)
*U10, U12, U14 players – must present a copy of their birth certificate per COGFP rules. Please give these to your coach no later than April 25th.
• Each team has been assigned to bring pop/water to jump- start the concession stand inventory. Please see your coach for the designated day to bring your pop/water to practice
U6 – 1 case water
U8 - 12 pack cans REGULAR Pepsi
U10 –12 pack cans DIET Pepsi
U12 -12 pack cans Sierra Mist
U14 - 12 pack cans Dr. Pepper
*we will purchase Gatorade to supply the concession stand from BGSA funds
• We are still in need of a U6 or U8 parent to run the concession stand when Amber Howell is unable. She will have everything organized, you will just need to be there to work and see that the other volunteers that have signed up are there to help as well. • fundraiser cards: If your coach has not given you fundraiser cards to sell, please contact Nikki Arnold (above). The cards are $10 each and we hope each girl will sell a minimum of 3. We earn $8.25 for each card sold! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CARDS YOU TAKE! Whatever is not sold must be returned to your coach no later than April 25th. Please complete the enclosed form so we are able to track cards/money. If you have more than one child playing, only one of them should have received the cards. If you need more, please let your coach or a board member know.
*We will also be selling Cristy’s cards from the concession stand. They are
$20 each and are good for (6) – By a large pizza, get a second free (a $77 value)! We profit $10 off of each card.
*All players and parents should receive and sign the Player/Parent Codes of Conduct (see your coach for handout and signature page)
