B&B comes up just short
B&B went into the ASA Bang for Bucks a little shorthanded, but still managed come away with a second place finish. We followed our normal trend of going 3-0 to start tournies, only to lose the winners bracket final. Ater getting back to the final to face Fat Kidz again, we just couldn't put the hits together and finished up in 2nd place.
All in all another strong perfromance from B&B. Next up is the Bang for Bucks on May 16/17. Lets see if we can finish it off this time!!!!
B&B Finises Third in Utrip Simi Tourney
B&B rolled out to Simi Valley to play in a Utrip....although we are primaily an ASA team, we made the long haul anyway....the day started off with three straight wins to put us into the winners bracket final against The Club. The game was low scoring and we had several chances to win, but just couldnt come up with the timely hits, losing a close game. On to the consolation bracket final where we would face Ear Hustlin whom we beat earlier inthe day. After a horrible first inning in which we spotted them 15 runs, we clawed back to make a ballgame of it, but could not get over the hump, finishing the day 3-2 and in third place....AGAIN!!

B&B started the year off at the first Bang for Bucks qualifier. Starting the day 3-0 put us into the winners bracket final against De Aquellas...The game went back and forth until the 7th when we gave up three runs and only answered with one, losing 10-8. Sunday morning we would face The Show....in another back and forth game, we were trailing 7-6 going into the top of the 7th. Unfortunately, we would hit our only home run of the tourney to lead off the 7th....ball game OVER....3rd place in the first tourney of the year. Once we get the final pieces of the roster in place, we will be ready to start finishing off people the way we should!!!
