Congratulations to Keith Hedrick and Coach Buddy Turnage!! Keith and Coach Turnage were named to the Louisiana 4A All-State Team by the Louisiana Sportswriters Association!!
Keith led the Cardinals batting .444 with 44 hits in 32 games, but just as stellar was his defensive play at shortstop.
Coach Turnage earned the Coach of the Year award in only his 4th season coaching High School Baseball, and only the second at Belle Chasse. Coach Turnage accrued more wins in a single season than any other Coach in Belle Chasse history, and led the team to the Semi-Finals for the first time since 1954. The Cardinals fell to the eventual 3-time defending State Champion Zachary Broncos 4-1.
