Golf Course for Thursday June 4 Rescheduled
Due to the forcast of thunderstorms in Gastonia the Jr Golf program will go to the golf coarse on Monday June 8 at 4pm at the Gastonia Municipal Golf Course instead of today.

Ages: 6-15
Fee: $25 in city $50 out of city
All registrations are taken at the recreation department located at 37 East Woodrow Ave, Belmont, NC 28012. Normal office hours are Monday - Thursday 8am to 8pm, Friday 8am to 5pm, and Saturday 9am - 12pm.

Monday, May 4, 2009 Location: Tee Time Driving Range**Time: 6:30pm. Bring clubs to meeting.
Coaches/Volunteers
The department is looking for energetic, enthusiastic individuals to help instruct our students involved with the Jr.Golf Program. Experienced individuals should contact Gil Aguirre at (704) 901-2070 or e-mail at gaguirre@cityofbelmont.org.
Equipment
Participant will need their own clubs. Recommended clubs are putter, pitching wedge, driver, 6 iron, and 3 wood. The instructor does have a few clubs for use if needed.
Jr. Golf Program
Ages: 6 - 15 Boys and Girls
Participants must be 6 prior to the beginning of the clinic and cannot turn 16 before the end of the clinic.
Registration Dates: First two weeks of April on a first come first serve basis.
Fees: In-City Residents $25, Non-Residents $50. Fees includes one bucket of balls per participant at each instruction.
Program Dates: May 4 - June 9, 2009

Mondays (Tee Time) & Tuesdays (Mountain View) May 4-29
Off the week of Memorial Day May 25-29
Tuesday June 2 at Tee Time & Thursday June 4 at Mountain View
Times:
6:45pm - 7:30pm (Instruction)
7:30pm – Until *Option to purchase balls at a discount for extra practice. See office manager.

End of Season Shoot-out: Monday, June 8, 2009 at Gastonia Municipal Golf Course. The fee for the golf course is not included with the registration fee. An extra day may be added depending on the amount of participants.
