    Recent Games

7:7: Arron Olson throws a complete game for the victory over the Edina ESox. Olson walked 11 batters and struck out 9 en route to the 9-2 win over the Esox. Jake Huwe, Kyle Bassamore and Sean Ohl all doubled for the Bandits. Jake Huwe gets the play of the night for throwing a runner out at home from center field. Congratulations to Kyle Bassamore on collecting his 100th career hit as a Bandit.

7/2: The Bandits rode the arm of Arron Olson to a 5-0 Riverview victory over the NWS Redhawks. Olson threw a complete game 1 hitter for the victory. Olson had a no hitter going with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th before a Redhawk doubled just out of the reach of Kevin Leak in left field. Ryan Walker led the way offensively going 3 for 4 with 4 RBI. Jason Raabe doubled for the Bandits in the victory.

6/30: The Bandits used two triples to start the game to take down the Ramblers. Cliff Christopherson threw the complete game going 7 innings and allowing 2 runs. Alex Mack tripled to left center field to start the Bandit offense, next hitter Ryan Walker then tripled to right. Big Riverview win for the Bandits.

6/28: Championship Game vs. Exeland Braves
The Bandits failed to repeat as tournament champions as they fell to the Exeland Braves 6-5. 14 strikeouts, 8 looking did not help the cause. Jason Meyer homered for the 3rd time of the tournament and Nick Cobb threw an excellent game. Congratulations Exeland on winning the tournament. Thank you Rum River Bandits for hosting a terrific tournament.

6/27: Game 2 of Bandits Bash vs. Princeton Panthers
The Bandits beat the Princeton Panthers in the night game of the Bandits Bash 8-6. The Bandits jumped to a 6-1 lead before 2 Panther home runs and a couple hits tied the game going into the seventh inning. In the top of the seventh Jason Meyer led off the inning with a single, and Kyle Bassamore followed with a double. The Panthers intentionally walked Sean Ohl to get to Jake Huwe who walked to score the go ahead run. Ryan Wolf then also walked to make the game 8-6. Tyler Elverud came up with the bases loaded and nobody out, hit the ball hard to 3rd, but the Panthers turned a rare triple play to end the Bandits threat. Kyle Bassamore then came on and shut the door on Princeton to get the win.

6/27: Game 1 of Bandits Bash vs. Ham Lake Freeze
The Bandits bats came out in a big way against Ham Lake. After not hitting a home run all year, the Bandits broke out with 4 in one game. Jason Meyer hit 2 in the game, Alex Mack hit 1 and Kyle Bassamore finally poked one over the fence after hitting the fence many times. Arron Olson got the complete game victory with 13 strike outs. Olson struck every hitter on the Ham Lake Freeze out at least once. Final score 8-3 win.
