BABL SUMMER BASEBALL CAMP

"1st Annual Jersey Shore Baseball Camp at Brick American"
Camp directors Coaches Robert Maida (Manasquan HS BB team) & Kevin James (Rumson Fair Haven HS BB team)

August 3 to 6, from 9 AM to 2 PM, Ages 5 to 15.

There are two camps: the regular Day Camp and the El Nino for ages 5 to 9.

BABL Player Season Highlights



·         6-19-09 – Inter-League 50/70 Championship Game, The Brick American Yankees defeated the Brick National Brewers, 2-1, in a pitchers dual to win the first cross town 50/70 Championship. Congratulations to all the Yankee players and coaches on a job well done!!!

·         6-16-09 – Rookie Division, The Red Sox beat the White Sox, 10-4 to win the Rookie Division Championship

·         6-16-09 – 46/60 Division, The Mariners beat the Royals, 6-2 to take the Division Championship

·         6-15-09 – 50/70 Division, The Yankees beat the Mariners, 6-5 in a heated battle to win the 50/70 Major Division Championship. Kyle Cala connected for a 2 run home run in the bottom of the 5th to give the Yankees the lead which they held on to in the 6th for the win.

·         In a 50/70 Division Playoff game Kyle Cala threw a no hitter against the Royals

·         In a recent 46/60 Major Division game between the Royals and A's. Royals 11 year old pitcher, Alex Mclean, threw a perfect game. Fanning 10 and no walks in picking up the win. 

·         In a Jr. League game between the Orioles and White Sox, 14 year old Orioles pitcher, Jesse Francisco pitched a no hitter. He issued 1 walk while striking out 11 in picking up the win.

Gregory Hanlon won All Around Runner Up in the sectional competition of the Hit, Pitch, & Run for the 7/8 Division

Dylan Evans placed 3rd for overall skills in the 9/10 Division

Ryan Monaghan placed 1st for pitching and 3rd for overall skills in the 11/12 Division

We are forming a new Division here at BABL, TRAVEL BASEBALL!!
Our new Travel Baseball Coordinator John Hazlet is always looking for players and teams to join our growing travel progam.

General Membership Meetings

BABL BY-LAWS
***General Membership meetings are open to both our members and players parents.***

General Meetings are held at The Brick American Club House on the 3rd Sunday evenings of the following months :
Jan, Feb, Mar, May, June, Sept, Oct, Nov ... at 7:30 pm

[ No meeting held in April, July, August & December ]

Managers MUST attend at least 3 league meetings per year
Coaches MUST attend at least 2 league meetings per year.

***All B.A.B.L. Managers and Coaches must complete the Cal Ripken Online Coaching Course***

The membership year begins October 1st and ends on September 30th of the following year.
Memberships dues for the 2009 Season are $15.00
