Joshua Jon Merritt, 11, of Newberry, passed away at 8:12 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Riley Childrens Hospital in Indianapolis.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. Interment will be in Scotland cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 1 hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.

Registration
Registrations will be accepted on June 27, 2009 at the White's Laundromat parking lot; 9 am to Noon.
The league will be using ages this year to determine teams. 14U, players can not turn 15 before Aug 1, 2009. 12u, players can not turn 13 before Aug 1, 2009. 10U, players can not turn 11 before Aug 1, 2009.
A copy of the players birth certificate and a picture ID are needed.
Registration forms can be printed from the handout section.
Practices
10U and 12U will practice Mondays and Wednsdays 6-8pm at the Crane Football Field.
14U and the 9-12 grade teams will practice Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-8pm at the Crane Football Field.
